Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements in their jurisdiction. Luminara offers programs intended for company directors and senior leaders; applicants should ensure their role and organizational context align with the program prerequisites.

If you are under 18, you may not register for services without prior consent from a legal guardian and explicit authorization by Luminara. Our offerings are primarily designed for adult professionals.

You agree to use the services lawfully and not for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose. You will not submit content or use the services in a way that violates laws or third-party rights.

Availability of some services may be restricted in certain jurisdictions due to local regulations. It is the user's responsibility to ensure they are permitted to access and participate in Luminara's services from their location.

Account Responsibilities

Some areas of the site require creating an account. Account holders are responsible for maintaining accurate information and for all activity that occurs under their credentials.

You must provide current, accurate and complete information when creating or updating an account. Inaccurate information may affect service eligibility and delivery.

Protect your account credentials and notify Luminara immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. Luminara will take reasonable steps to secure accounts but is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from user negligence.

Accounts are personal and may not be transferred or assigned without Luminara's prior written consent.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support at [email protected] immediately and follow any instructions provided to secure your account.

Luminara may suspend or restrict access to accounts that violate these terms, pose security risks, or for administrative reasons. Notice will be provided where practicable.

Service Description

Luminara provides conscious leadership training, workshops, and advisory services tailored to company directors. Program formats include virtual sessions, in-person workshops in Malaysia, and curated materials. Descriptions, schedules and fees for specific programs are provided on the website or in program documentation.

Luminara may modify program content, schedules, instructors or delivery methods. Where a paid program is affected materially, affected participants will be notified and options such as rescheduling or alternative sessions may be offered.

While we endeavor to make services available as scheduled, availability may be affected by factors outside our control such as instructor availability, venue constraints, or public health measures. Luminara will communicate changes promptly.

Acceptable Use Rules

When using Luminara services you agree to follow these rules to maintain a respectful, secure and productive environment.

• Engage respectfully with facilitators and fellow participants; no harassment or discriminatory language.
• Use program materials for personal and organisational development only; do not redistribute proprietary materials without permission.
• Comply with applicable laws and venue rules during in-person events.
• Do not attempt to access restricted parts of the platform or interfere with its operation.
• Provide truthful information in program applications and evaluations.
• Refrain from recording sessions unless explicit permission is granted by Luminara and other participants.
• Report any abusive or inappropriate behaviour to Luminara promptly.

User Content

Participants may submit feedback, comments, or other materials during training. Such user content is subject to these terms.

You retain ownership of the original content you submit. By submitting content, you represent that you have the rights necessary to grant the licenses below.

By submitting content you grant Luminara a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and display the content for the purposes of delivering programs, improving services, and internal reporting.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of any content you provide. Do not submit confidential personal data of third parties without consent.

Luminara may remove user content that violates these terms or is unlawful. Requests for removal may be submitted to [email protected] and will be assessed in accordance with applicable law.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in program materials, website content and branding are owned by or licensed to Luminara. Unauthorized use, copying or redistribution of protected materials is prohibited except as permitted by these terms or with express permission.

• Do not copy or republish course materials without written consent.
• Do not use Luminara activity or logos without prior authorization.
• Any permitted use of intellectual property must include proper attribution as required.

Paid Services and Fees

Certain Luminara programs and materials are offered for a fee. Paid services are described on the site and in program agreements where applicable.

Program fees are stated at the time of registration and may include taxes, venue charges and materials. Prices are subject to change for future offerings but changes will not affect confirmed registrations for past dates.

Payments are accepted via the methods specified at checkout. Full payment or deposit requirements will be set out during registration. Access to paid content may be contingent on receipt of payment.

If a subscription model is offered, recurring fees and billing intervals will be clearly stated. Users are responsible for cancelling subscriptions if they no longer wish to be billed.

Refund requests are handled in accordance with the terms specified for each program. Where refunds are available, they will be processed following verification and any applicable deductions for services already delivered or administrative costs.

Cancellations by participants should follow the process set out in program materials. Luminara may cancel or reschedule programs for operational reasons; in such cases options for transfer or refund will be provided in line with the situation.

Applicable taxes or duties may be charged in addition to program fees in accordance with local law. Participants are responsible for any taxes applicable in their jurisdiction.

Luminara may update fees for future programs. Confirmed registrations will be charged at the rate specified at the time of registration unless otherwise stated.

Failure to pay fees when due may result in suspension or cancellation of access to paid services. Outstanding amounts remain payable and may incur collection costs as permitted by law.

Disclaimer

Luminara provides educational and advisory services intended to support leadership development. Content is for informational purposes and does not constitute professional legal, business, or medical advice. Outcomes depend on many factors including participant engagement and organisational context.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luminara's liability arising from use of the services is limited to direct damages up to the amount paid by the participant for the relevant service. Luminara is not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect losses.

Third-Party Services

Third-party tools or services linked or integrated with Luminara are subject to their own terms and privacy practices. Luminara is not responsible for third-party content or services and provides such links for convenience only.

Termination

Either party may terminate access to services in accordance with these terms. Luminara reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for breach of terms, unlawful behaviour, or at its discretion for operational reasons.

On termination, access to paid materials may be revoked. Certain provisions of these terms, including intellectual property, liability limitations and dispute resolution, will survive termination.

Privacy

Luminara's privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy available on the website. The policy explains what personal data is collected, purposes of processing, retention periods and data subject rights.

Communications

By registering for services you consent to receive administrative communications related to your participation. Marketing communications are sent only with consent or where there is a legitimate interest and may be opted out of.

Changes to Terms

Luminara may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the website or direct notice. Continued use after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Where mandatory consumer protections apply in a user's jurisdiction, those protections will take precedence.

Dispute Resolution

Parties will attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation or litigation in Malaysian courts, subject to applicable mandatory rules.
